It is a weekend market located within the province of Krabi and is the perfect place for anyone who is an avid gourmand. The food stalls feature multiple cuisines but emphasize more on the Thai and Chinese cuisine. Plus, you can also take home exotic Thai fruits and vegetables from the vendors or hawkers.

YAOWARAT ROAD (CHINATOWN)

It is one of the most popular places in Bangkok known for its food stalls. These stalls serve almost every popular Thai food item, from spicy flat noodles served with chopped pork/beef/chicken and gravy to the very famous green papaya salad and rice. Other than the famous flat noodles, these stalls also serve delicately prepared shrimp topped with some vegetables and a sauce of your choice.

WANG LANG MARKET

A tidy place where you can savor on some of the most popular Thai snacks and sweets. The food kiosks in this area serve a wide variety of food items to choose from, such as :

  • Grilled chicken sausages on skewers
  • Noodle soup served with chopped pork or vegetables
  • Sour shrimp soup 
  • Dumplings in a dark soy-sauce gravy
  • Rice noodles served with meat and curry

Also, there are some fancy cafes and restaurants in the Wang Lang Market where you can relish some delicious sushi and later have some pastry or perhaps a Thai sweet dish.

A food market located Khlong Toei District of Bangkok, the Khlong Toei Market is famous for its fried-insect food push stalls/carts. These stalls/carts serve silkworms, scorpions,  water bugs, beetles, crickets, cockroaches, and so much more. As disgusting as it sounds, these insects are a delicacy amongst the locals.

BANGLAMPHU MARKET

A busy marketplace located in the Phra Nakhon District of Bangkok, Banglamphu Market, is famous for its restaurants and open-air bars. However, there's more to this market than just fancy restaurants and bars, Similar to the stalls in Khlong Toei Market, the stalls in Banglamphu Market also serve a wide variety of creepy looking fried-insects.
