Day 1

Welcome to Dubai, one of the most unique, and vibrant destinations in the world! In a single day, you can experience everything from rugged mountains and awe-inspiring sand dunes to sandy beaches and lush green parks, from dusty villages to luxurious residential districts and from ancient houses with wind towers to ultra-modern shopping malls.

On arrival in Dubai, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

After morning breakfast. City tour Timing: 09:30 hrs – 14:00 hrs

Panoramic City tour of Dubai Photostop near the Burj Al Arab- the Landmark of Dubai.

This afternoon, experience the historic sites and vibrant cosmopolitan life of Dubai on a comprehensive sightseeing tour. Your excursion begins with a photo stop at Dubai’s most famous landmark, the Burj Al Arab hotel. The unique billowing sail design of this world-renowned luxury hotel is a must-see for all visitors to Dubai. You’ll then proceed to Jumeirah, Dubai’s picturesque palace and residential area that is also home to the famous Jumeirah Mosque. The tour then continues to Al Bastakiya, Dubai’s atmospheric old quarter by the Creek. Here, you’ll visit Dubai’s famous museum housed in the former Al Fahidi Fort. Later wander through the glorious Spice and Gold souk.

Evening Desert Safari timing: 15:30 hrs – 21:00 hrs

Desert Safari by 4WD including Belly dancing and BBQ Dinner.

Later in the afternoon, take a drive of your lifetime, as you proceed on a Desert Safari tour. Drive in a 4×4 to the interiors of the desert, experiencing the unique thrills of a roller-coaster ride over the sand dunes. The tour takes a break at the sand dune to take in the breathtaking beauty of the setting sun. You can take camel rides, enjoy a Sheesha, feast on a true Arabic BBQ dinner, and scintillate your senses by watching belly dancing, a fascinating dance choreographed to the beats of Arabic music.

Evening Dhow Cruise with Dinner 19:00 hrs – 21:30 hrs

Enjoy the delicious taste of true Arabian hospitality, on a Dhow Cruise this evening. A sumptuous dinner is served whilst you cruise along in a traditional Arabic Dhow that glides silently along the creek of Dubai under a starry and moonlit sky. Admire the architecture of places such as the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, the spectacular Chamber of Commerce building and also Sheikh Saeed’s house, the birthplace of Sheikh Rashid.

As part of this tour you will visit many highlights in one day: Mauritius Aquarium, Mauritius National Botanical garden, Sugar estate & Museum, town of Port Louis, Natural history Museum and waterfront. The first visit will be to the Mauritius Aquarium.

The aquarium, located in a small relaxing village in the North West of Mauritius, is home to a large number of species including over 200 species of fish, invertebrates, live coral and sponges, originating from the waters around the island.
The newly designed architecture of the aquarium shows off what the aquarium has to offer to a better degree. In the Aquarium you are able to enjoy a unique walk on the ocean floor observing what Mauritius’ marine life has to offer. During your visit you will get to see the Crown squirrel fish and the Devil Firefish as well as a number of sharks. Also, get ready to see neon brights, glowing yellows, fluorescent greens, purples and other amazing colors you probably didn’t believe could be found in any marine wildlife.There is also a special touch pool for children to experience direct contact with some of the species in the aquarium.Later the tour will continue to the Mauritius National Botanical gardens. The botanical gardens, home to an incredible variety of tropical plants, many of them indigenous. The Botanical Garden is one of the most visited attractions in Mauritius. It was first opened as a private garden by the French governor of Mauritius nearly 300 years ago.

The garden stretches over endless acres of land and it can take you more than a week to cover the whole garden. The botanical garden is populated with more than 650 varieties of plants among which are the famous Baobabs , the palmier bouteille, the ineluctable giant water lilies, dozens of medicinal plants, 85 different varieties of palms, a big spice garden and many more. The tour will then continue to the Sugar estate and museum which stretches over 5000 square meters. In the estate you will discover the stories, tales and background on the sugar, such as: sugar throughout the ages, the history of sugar production and growing in Mauritius, manufacturing progress of sugar, the Sugar Routes- journeys of sugar and the history of commercial exchanges throughout the world and many more.You can also enjoy a selection of panorama videos and films on many sugar related subject s. Also, as part of your visit, you will have the o pportunity to shop at the estate’s boutique – Don’t miss this great opportunity to enjoy, try, and to purchase a unique-local made special sugars, and the local made Mauritian rum!If you wish, you can also enjoy a lunch at the Sugar estate restaurant, where you can have a great quality lunch with a magnificent view of the Pieter Both Mountain.You will end the tour with a visit to Port Louis, which is the capital of Mauritius. It is the Mauritius’ largest city and the economic and administrative center of the island. Port Louis has plenty of character. Right off the main square you can stroll besides the palm-lined Place d’Armes. You can see some wonderful French colonial buildings, especially the Government House and the Municipal Theater. In Port Louis you can also see few sightseeing attractions such as the: the Anglican and Catholic cathedrals, the main city Mosque, Chinatown, the lively covered market, the Supreme Court house, the 18th century Barracks and the Natural History Museum.

Day 6

After morning breakfast. Pickup from Hotel, full day tour to South Island Tour. Crocodile & Giant Tortoises Park. The park is home to various species of animals, reptiles and plants. The park is set in a beautiful rain forested valley with natural freshwater springs, full of prawns and fish. As part of your visit to the Crocodile & Giant Tortoises Park, the park’s guides will guide you through some unforgettable walks, and you will stroll through luxuriant greenery where banana trees, palm trees and giant bamboos provide shade for the crocodiles and the giant tortoises. During your stay in the crocodile park you can also experience a firsthand unique encounter with the giant tortoises and turtles, and get a rare chance to feed, pet and play with them. Also thousands of Nile crocodiles are found in the park and you can watch them in maximum safety.

The Crocodile & Giant Tortoises Park also offers a mini zoo of Mauritian fauna where you can find most of the Mauritian mammals and reptiles including skinks, phelsumas (geckos), giant tortoises, turtles, bats, deer, mongooses, monkeys, wild boars, as well as domestic livestock such as goats, fat-tailed sheep and donkeys.A must see is the park’s rare collection of butterflies and other brightly-colored insects (with about 23 000 species), which is one of the most fascinating in the world. Rochester WaterfallsRochester Falls are waterfalls on the Savanne River. The Rochester waterfalls are located near the southern coast of Mauritius around 2.5 kilometers from the village of Souillac. This area is full of natural beauties and interesting formations. The organ-pipe shaped basalt columns near the waterfalls and the signs of lava balls revealed from the way are really spectacular. The water of the Savanne River tumble from 10m height. The constant erosion has fashioned the basalt rock into upright columns of unique shapes. They form a natural sculpture, carved within a hard rock, with angles frayed over time. The track leading down to the waterfalls is lined with banana, mango and litchi trees and also sugar cane fields, all provide shade from the sun, and create beautiful and peaceful surrounding. You will get to enjoy the short track leading to the waterfalls and the beautiful surrounding, while admiring the charm of the waterfalls.Gris – GrisThe village of Gris-Gris is found at the Southern tip of Mauritius. The appeal of Gris Gris lies in it scenery, the high cliffs here drop abruptly to the sea and the bracing winds of the Indian Ocean blow all year round. Gris-Gris is well known for its sea cliff and this is definitely a sight worth seeing. This part of the island is not surrounded by coral reefs and this is why thick waves crash directly on the cliffs. At the southern end of Gris-Gris you will have a great viewpoint on the cliffs and will see the squashing of waves against the flanks of the cliffs. Bois Chéri Visit of Bois Chéri, the biggest tea producer in Mauritius. It is also the first tea plantation in Mauritius dates back to 1892. As part of the visit of the Bois Cheri, you will enjoy a guided tour with a local guide leading you through the factory and the tea plantation, offering you to discover the history, stories and tales of Bois Chéri and the importance of tea productions in Mauritius. After the guided tour of the tea factory, you will visit the tea production museum learning more about the history of tea in Mauritius. The Bois Chéri offers a great panoramic view of the south of the island. Nowadays Bois Chéri produces a new range of flavored teas, green teas and herbal teas. You may taste them during your visit. Saint Aubin House The Saint Aubin house was built in 1819. It has been home to several managers of the sugar estate, before being renovated in the 90’s in order to preserve a part of the Mauritian heritage. Today one may still see the beams and ship poles used in its original construction. You will also discover the vanilla plantation of the estate and the interesting transformation process of the vanilla orchid from the flower to the aromatic pod. Grand Bassin (also known as Ganga Talao) Grand Bassin is a lake situated 6km South East of Mare aux Vacoas in a secluded mountain area in the district of Savanne, deep in the heart of Mauritius. It is about 1800 feet (550m) above sea level. Grand Bassin with its Hindu temple is a holy lake for Mauritians of Hindu faith. The lake rests in the crater of an extinct volcano. It is said that the water inside the lake communicates with the waters of the holy Ganges of India. The Hindus of Mauritius declared the Grand Bassin as a Holy lake.

The Hindu community performs there a pilgrimage every year on the Maha Sivaratri (Shiva’s Great Night), on this day they honor the Lord Shiva. Beside the lake there is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and other Gods including Hanuman, Lakshmi, and others. Mangal Mahadev – Shiva Statue Beside Grand Bassin you will also get to see the statue of Lord Shiva. The statue is of 108 feet (33 meters) and is the highest known statue in Mauritius (and one of the 50 highest statues in the world). The sight of the Mangal Mahadev statue is quite impressive as it is a beautiful crafted very big statue.
