A journey to the land of wonders! Discover the sights of South America and experience the stunning Rio Carnival in one extraordinary tour. Get a chance to explore the rich culture of Brazil.
BrazilBrazil Jewels Tour (Mumbai to Mumbai) guests will report at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport-respective airline terminal, four hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time.
After collecting the snacks hamper from Veena World Airport Representative and completing check in formalities, guests along with Veena World Tour Manager will travel to Sao Paulo – Brazil’s vibrant financial center, an alpha global city is known for its iconic buildings ranging from neo-Gothic cathedral to modernist skyscrapers.
Joining & Leaving (J&L) Tour guests will directly join at Sao Paulo Airport as per the scheduled group flight arrival time. J&L Tour guests who have already reached Brazil can meet the scheduled group as per the guidelines given by Veena World Tour Manager.
Upon arrival, Veena World Tour Manager will guide all Brazil Jewels Tour guests for airport formalities and proceed to the city.
In the evening, all Veena World Tour guests will have a short Meet & Greet session.
Today we explore Sao Paulo city, we visit Ibirapuera Park - most expansive green space and a much-loved urban oasis inaugurated in 1954 on occasion of 400th anniversary of the city, to see Monumento as bandeiras – a large-scale granite sculpture built by the Italian-Brazilian sculptor Victor Brecheret to commemorates the 17th-century expeditions into the interior of Brazil. We then enjoy photo stop at the backdrop of stunning graffiti art of Batman Alley. Later we see Sao Paulo Cathedral – largest Latin cross church in city built in a Neo – Gothic style of architecture, it has five aisled nave and a dome inspired by the Renaissance style and Altino Arantes Building – also known as the Banespa Building is a famous Art deco skyscraper.
In the afternoon, we travel to Manaus – Amazon’s largest incongruous urban metropolis situated on confluence of the Negro and Solimoes rivers in the middle of dense tropical forest.
Today we board the Amazon River Cruise and we see confluence River Negro meets the River Solimoes where two river’s waters run side by side without mixing for 6kms. Here we might get a chance to see glimpses of Grey – Pink River Dolphins. Later we enjoy canoeing ride – which gives us opportunity to move around nature in relaxing way.
Today we travel to Iguazu Falls by flight.
In the evening we enjoy Raffin Show – a Latin American dance show with delicious BBQ Dinner.
Today we visit Iguazu Falls – also known as Devil’s throat, there are 275 individual drops originating from the Iguazu River which creates a magnificent spectacle of world’s largest waterfalls at the border of Brazil and Argentina followed by visit to Parque das Aves Bird park – private zoo set within 16 hectares of forest mainly having birds population as well as other animals and butterflies.
Later we visit Itaipu Dam – one of world’s largest hydroelectric dam built on the Paraná River between Brazil and Paraguay. Here we enjoy panoramic view of surrounding area from the central Lookout.
In the evening we enjoy sound and light show at Itaipu Dam.
Today we travel to Rio de Janeiro by flight. Rio de Janeiro is the huge seaside city in Brazil famous for Carnival festival featuring parades floats, flamboyant costumes and Samba dancers. Upon arrival we explore Rio de Janeiro, we visit Maracana Stadium – major football stadium in Rio opened in 1950 to host the FIFA world cup, The Sambadrome - a purpose-built parade area built for the Rio Carnival, Metropolitan Cathedral – shaped as a Mayan Pyramid of Mexico and dedicated to Saint Sebastian.
Today we enjoy a cable car ride to UNESCO word Heritage site Sugarloaf Mountain – a monolithic granite and quartz mountain that rise from Guanabara Bay resembles refined loaf of sugar followed by visit to Corcovado – a granite peak located in a Tijuca forest, to see famous Christ the Redeemer statue - an Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ created by French sculptor Paul Landowski and built by Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa. The statue is listed as one of the New Seven Wonders of the world and iconic land mark of South America. We take a cogwheel train ride which take us at the top of the mountain from where we can enjoy panoramic view of Rio city.
In the evening we visit famous Copacabana beach - a magnificent confluence of land and sea which stretches for 4kms
It’s time now to say goodbye!
Brazil Jewels Tour (Mumbai to Mumbai) guests will proceed to Rio de Janeiro Airport as per the scheduled group flight departure time. After completing airport formalities, Brazil Jewels Tour guests will travel back to Mumbai with Veena World Tour Manager.
Joining & Leaving (J&L) Tour guests can leave from Rio de Janeiro Hotel or they can be dropped Rio de Janeiro Airport along with scheduled group or they can have their own arrangements made for the return journey back home.
Brazil Jewels Tour concludes with mixed feelings! Happy to have made so many good friends, visited beautiful places and collected joyful memories to be cherished for a lifetime. We leave with a heavy heart as the golden days of the Tour come to an end.
