Meet and greet with B2Sky’s representative at the airport. Transfer to the centrally located hotel in Budapest. Check in and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Recommended discovery walks in downtown Budapest (Pest side): walk along the famous Váci Street, which is one of the main pedestrianized streets. Continue past the fashion and souvenir shops to Franciscans’ Square, Klotild Palace, up to the Pest side of the Liberty Bridge, until you reach the Central Market Hall.Overnight at the hotel.

On Pest side visit the famous Andrássy Avenue, Heroes’ Square (photo stop), drive around the City Park, In the City park you can see the imposing Vajdahunyad Castle, one of the oldest Zoo in Europe, Circus, the Széchenyi Thermal Bath, the largest thermal bath in Central Europe. We drive along the Andrássy avenue- where you can see the State Opera House and then the Basilica from outside. We cross the Chains Bridge to Buda side. Nice walking in the Castle District which is home of the Fishermen’s Bastion, the neo-gothic Matthias Church (entrance ticket included) and the Royal Palace. From the Citadel on Gellert Hill, you can experience a wonderful panoramic view of Budapest (photo stop). We cross the Liberty Bridge to Pest side again and look at the Central Market Hall, National Museum, after it you’ll have the opportunity to see outside the Dohány Street Synagogue, the 2nd biggest in the world.
In the afternoon join the 45 minutes guided inside tour of the Parliament, the third largest Parliament building in the world, the home of the Hungarians’ Holy Crown (entrance ticket included). Transfer with guide and air conditioned vehicle.

Full day excursion to the Danube Bend with guide and air conditioned vehicle: Visegrád, Szentendre (and Esztergom as an alternative), the three most beautiful cities on the Danube Bend. Enjoy the picturesque viewpoints and get acquainted with Hungarian history along the “Blue Danube”.In Visegrad we walk at the 750 year-old stones of the Upper Castle of the Hungarian kings, the Citadel built against the Mongol invasion, and enjoy the fascinating panorama on the Danube valley. At the lower Castle, named Solomon’s Tower we learn about the life in the middle ages. We have a lot of fun in the Knights’ Tournament performed by the Saint George Knightly Order in the open air theatre (available on Wednesdays and Saturdays). Medieval lunch is served in the medieval Renaissance Restaurant in Visegrád.
On the way back we stop in the artist’s lovely riverside town of Szentendre. It is a small city at the gate of the Danube Bend, at the meeting place of the river Danube. We walk along the cobbledstone streets around the baroque settlement, built on medieval ruins and go up the narrow streets to the panoramic viewpoint to see the Danube. The numerous churches in town reflect the cultural, ethnic and religious diversity of Szentendre, the Serbian settlers who came to the town and gave its characteristic, Mediterranean-style architecture.
You can also take the opportunity to visit the museums or you can choose to visit the art galleries and souvenir shops of the village. As an alternative, and on on days except Wednesdays and Saturdays we visit Esztergom: the Northern gate of Budapest – the centre of the Catholic Church. We visit the largest cathedral of Hungary (also burial place of famous cardinals of Hungary). Enjoy the view across the Danube to Slovakia.
The former summer residence of Queen Elisabeth (Sisi) and Franz Joseph (Habsburg Emperor and Hungarian King). This interior tour of the Museum and the garden will tell you about the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the hidden doors, secrets of the royal couple. After seeing this historical highlight, we drive to the horse-ranch. The Lázár Equestrian Park is owned by the coach driving world champions, Vilmos and Zoltán Lázár. Guests will be invited for a welcome drink and a taste of the famous Hungarian salty pastry “pogácsa”. You will have the possibility to take a carriage ride in the surrounding area. During the programme enjoy the exciting horse show and admire the skill of the famous Hungarian “cowboys” (“csikósok”). The show includes four-hand driving, pony carriage, cart pulled by Hungarian grey cattle and Puszta-five etc. Following the show a typical Hungarian lunch with gypsy music is served.
