Akureyri is the second biggest city in Iceland and the capital of the North of Iceland. Our hotel here has facilities which are in sharing.
Today is the day of waterfalls, lakes and nature baths. The town of Akureyri is a very charming and on a fjord. The Detifoss waterfall is reputed to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe and you will see why. Lunch can be enjoyed at the thermal baths of Lake Myvatn Geothermal Area. The water is at a temperature of + 40 - 45 deg centigrade and we have included the entrance at the baths. You will have to carry the costume and towels.
