Today visit the grand Amer Fort, located 11 kilometres away from Jaipur. Amber was the ancient capital of Kachawaha dynasty before Jai Singh founded Jaipur. It is a gorgeous monument built out of yellow sandstone that has detailed marble interiors which add an artistic angle to it. It is suggested that you spend the rest of the day at leisure while relaxing at your property and gearing up for the long drive to Jaisalmer the next day.
