On arrival at Puri- the holiest destination of Hindu Pilgrimage, check-in at a hotel and have rest for some time. Later, proceed to visit Jagannath Temple-dedicated to Lord Jagannath where people visit in order to seek forgiveness. Later, proceed to visit Chilika Lake- the Asias largest brakish water lagoon that has rich biodiversity. This lake is also famous for pink flamingoes during winter season. In the evening, visit Puri Beach and stroll around the market for shopping. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay
After breakfast, proceed to witness the Rath Yatra from a roof top. You may also like to capture the photos if you are a shutterbug. In the Rath Yatra, the procession proceeds where Lord Jagannath along with his sister Subhadara and elder brother Balabhadra are brought in the streets of Puri and then the procession proceeds towards Gundicha Temple where all three of them are said to enjoy vacation at aunts house. A large number of devotees across the globe reach to attend this procession. After rejoicing the Rath Yatra, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Konark enroute Raghurajpur- the heritage village of Odisha that is famous for craftsmanship. You may like to see the art of palm leaf engravings, tussar paintings, carvings on the stone etc in this village. Later proceed towards Konark. On arrival, check-in at a hotel and rest for some time. Then, visit Konark Sun Temple (Black Pagoda) that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is designed in the shape of a colossal chariot with seven horses and ten wheels that carry Sun God Surya. Later, visit Archaeological Survey of India (A.S.I.) Museum. Later, visit Kushabhadra River to rejoice the peace and calm vibes. If time permits, you may visit the Fishermans village where you may like to see the daily chores of the inhabitants of the village. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Bhubaneswar. Visit Nandankanan Zoological Park- an attractive tourist place as tigers are found here. Then, visit Lingaraja Temple- a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva (also called Harihara). Later in the evening visit Mukteswara Temple- a Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva where one can rejoice the art and sculpture. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
