Thicksey: The twelve storeyed monastery of Thicksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island of Mountain. Final visit; Hemis: Farthest way from Leh, and famous for Ladakh festival held in each summer. Evening return. Overnight stay.
After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft high) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft high, is the third highest motorable road in the world. Arrive Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Drive back to Leh by the same route. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive for full day sightseeing to the Likir, Alchi Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame museum and Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar& Indus River). Back to Leh.Later Local visit of Sankar Gompa: Located on a valley floor and is the home to Lmas who belong to yellow sect and worship his Holiness - The Dalai Lama. Visit Shanti Stupa: a Buddhist religious monument built by Indian based Japanese Monk whose intention was to spread Buddhism by building such stupas throughout the world.by evening and overnight stay
