After breakfast at Hotel, we proceed from Nairobi to Nyeri, a small but fast growing town in the heart of the coffee growing and dairy farming area in the so-called former White Highlands of Kenya. After lunch at the base hotel, we leave for Tree hotel where the evening is spent watching animals that emerge from the forest and descend on floodlit water hole and salt lick, scuffling and jostling for a good vantage position. At night you can remain awake and watch the show-the Elephants may engage in a show of strength with each other but even they would be reluctant to challenge the rhino. Overnight at Tree hotel.
After breakfast at Hotel we proceed to the Fairmount Mount Kenya Safari Club, which is situated at the foot of Mount Kenya (17,058 feet). You also get a chance to stop at the Equator. After breakfast at the Hotel,we cross over the top of the Aberdare range of mountains, stopping for a while to gaze at the Thompson’s Falls, named after Joseph Thompson,the first European to see the Falls in 1884. Afternoon proceed for a Game drive. The game in this Park will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant. The Park has stunning flocks of Flamingos, which turn the lakeshore into a magnificent pink stretch. The bird life here is world renown and many bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the places in Africa to see the White Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Overnight at a lodge in Nakuru/Naivasha.
After breakfast at the Hotel, we pass through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration. After lunch proceed for a game drive. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. It is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino & many other creatures like Maasai Giraffe, Eland, Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles. Overnight at a lodge/ camp in Mara.
After breakfast at the Hotel, we proceed on a morning game drive to search for the species of game that make this reserve their home. If we are lucky, we can witness the kill in action, moment by moment, right in front of our eyes! After lunch proceed for another exciting game drive, where you can expect to see the famous 'Big 5'. Later check out from the Hotel and move to international Airport to take flight back home.
