The second day of your sparkling tour would take you to Tromso, a major cultural hub above the Arctic Circle. This city has a vibe which would make you feel fresh and happy from the word go. Some rest at the Hotel and you are ready to explore the city famed for showcasing natural beauty. During the day you would be visiting the beautiful surroundings. Your excitement levels would get higher as the evening nears. We won’t make you wait for more for the astonishing Northern Lights to unfold in front of your eyes, enjoy your dinner and the entire night would be there to explore the Aurora Borealis. The natural dancing lights in the night sky would make you strive for even more. This destination which is famous for the cultural folklore would be made more fun with our well-trained tour guide who would get you accustomed to as many customs as the time allows. You would be driven back to your hotel in Tromso for a peaceful night sleep.
After you have had an astonishing night seeing the Northern Lights, you would wish to have more of Tromso, and we’ll let you fulfill it. The most notable city attractions include the Art Museum of Northern Norway, the Arctic Cathedral and the Polar Museum. These places are not to be missed at any cost. Our transport mechanisms would pick you from the hotel and take you conveniently to these places. A ride via the Fjellheisen cable car to Mt. Storsteinen to get a bird’s eye view of the beautiful city is an option you would have.
Enough of roadways, now for the next part of your visit you would be boarding the Hurtigruten ship in the evening for a fantastic cruise to Kirkenes. Throughout your voyage, the amazing and incredible views of some of the most famous sights of Norway would be there to see. On board with you would be some amazing dining services and entertaining events to keep you engaged.
Situated at 71° north, the famous North Cape with its beautiful sceneries is the ship’s next stop. Apart from a beautiful landscape viewing experience, this place is also renowned for the opportunities it provides for wildlife sighting. You could also explore Honningsvag seaside in the free time. It would be one of the most fantastic cruise experiences of your life. The North Cape is an inspiring location as it gives you the chance of finding solitude. The impact of massive waves crashing against the rocky ramparts of the cape can be felt. All this along with our pleasant amenities at your hands would be an experience of a lifetime, for sure. A buffet of delicacies and another night in your private cabin would be fun as the ship would continue to cruise along.
Located around 400 km higher to the Arctic Circle, Kirkenes would be the next stop of your ship. This place is worth a million dollars, but you would get to see it at a lesser cost. A charming location to chill out in the Norwegian winter, Kirkenes is as much about its unique attraction as it is about unique winter activities. You’ll finally get out of the Ship and dropped off to the famous Snow Hotel to get fresh and have a changeover. Then you’ll be taken out for snowmobile safari. This activity is one the most enjoyable winter outings. Done after getting completely covered with warm clothes (specific place to change),
Snowmobile is a bit of madness mixed with endless laughter. A few lessons on how to operate the snowmobile and you’re all set to go for a glide. Some selfies along the sledding journey in the snow with your sled partner are the way to go. A picnic is what follows.
Back to the Snow Hotel and you would be served drinks and a 3-course meal before the night shuts in a special made for your suite of ice and snow.
As the sun would rise, another day of wilderness would await you. Friendly dogs and the snowy surface are your new colleagues at the tour. You would be taken to a new hotel before the adventurous dog sledding ride. After the transfer, you’re all set for a thriller of a contest between the snow and the Dogs in the Pasvik Valley, situated along the northeastern border of Norway. Some basic directions about how to “mush” or be a part of a dog sled ride. After this, the usual onsight meals would be served, and some small activities would be undertaken. In all this, you would be guided by your guide. The transport vehicle would take you back to the hotel in Kirkenes. The remaining part of your day would be for some rest and music in the hotel along with snacks and the dine in at night.
