Arrive at Colombo Airort, Srilanka and transfer to Kandy. Kandy is known as the cultural capital of Sri Lanka as well as it symbolizes the rich cultural heritage of the country. En-route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a home to the retired and orphaned Elephants. This orphanage is the home for about 60 elephants, out of which many are baby elephants found, abandoned or orphaned in the wild. they are being cared, fed and trained by the wild life authorities. Kandy houses the tooth relic of the Lord Buddha, in the famous ‘Dalada Maligawa’ or the ‘Temple of the Tooth’. After breakfast do a city tour. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, which is a world heritage site. the name Kandy conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. drive around the Kandy lake built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1806. Visit the Arts & Crafts Center and a Gem Museum and a Lapidary. In the evening visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden. This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala King and was expanded by the British. it is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Dinner and overnight stay at Kandy.
After the breakfast, proceed to Bentota. Arrive in Bentota, a rural coastal town in Sri Lanka Famous for its pristine sandy beaches. Bentota is a home to the majestic Marine Turtle, lies at the finishing end of the ''Golden Mile'' from Colombo. Enjoy the boat ride in Bentota - known as Paradise Island of the Sri Lanka.
