Arrive in Colombo International Airport and after airport check-out procedure, get transferred to your hotel at Dambulla in the evening. On this day, after breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya via Seetha Kotuwa. According to legends, this is the same place where once the city of Lankapura was located. At Hakgala, visit the Sita Amman Temple – according to tradition, the site is associated with Sita of the Ramayana epic. Ancient statues of Rama and Sita can be seen on a side of the temple. Later visit the Hakgala Botanical Gardens known as Ashok Vatika - one of the pleasure gardens of King Ravana. Next you will visit the Victoria Park, in the middle of the town, is a lovely place for a stroll or a picnic and is also good for Birding as you get some rare birds in this Park.
