It was fun to see all these cute monkeys for the first 10 minutes however afterward you will see their aggressiveness toward you or other visitors. Do NOT bring anything there; no phone, food, drink, glasses, or anything else that you will regret losing. These monkeys will grab and steal them. Sure they are cute to see but i would suggest to skip this with other activity or put this as your lowest priority

We came here with our guide and he was very informative. He had told us that money forest was built as a way to keep the monkeys safe while still able to roam free. They are fed every day in various locations of the park so prevent them from going into the city and finding food. I really like how you can walk amongst them as they are going about their day. You are told not to look at the directly in the eyes and not to engage with them however most local guides know their behaviours well and can usually get the monkeys to interact with you safely

This is one of the places in Bali which I dont like that much as other places; may be because of too much monkeys. Sometimes, we will shudder by the very actions of them. The forest is absolutely beautiful in the middle of bustling city. If you take the scare away; then what you see is beautiful tress and majestic nature. Those who love monkeys will have a great time wading through The Sacred Monkey Forest.

Oh my goooood!! This was extremely fun, it’s so so beautiful, it was my first time seeing monkeys and i had no idea you’re not supposed to look straight into their eyes so one monkey almost had the chance take a bite out of my face. Not better than baby bananas but still..

I good half a day excursion. You can enjoy a lovely walk through the forest, with the echoing sound of monkeys everywhere around you. The monkeys are quite tame, and with the assistance of the staff, you can pretty much have one sat on you. There's not much to else to do whilst in the sanctuary, however once you come out there's quite a few eateries local to go to.

Yes, the monkeys will not harm you until you maintain dignity and do not try to touch or harm them. If, by any chance, a monkey tries to snatch away your food, let it take it else. It might bite you.
