\MBK stands for Mah Broom Krong Although "MBK Centre" is official, the locals call it MBK. It was built in 1985 and the mall has been extremely popular ever since.

MBK is a famous shopping mall all over Thailand and Asia. There are 8th floor and  2000 shops here where they sell everything. Here you will find branded copy cloths. The central at MBK Centre is truly good looking.

How to Reach

  • By Train : You can take a train from BTS Skytrain station to National Stadium. From there you can take a walking distance and follow the signs that will lead you to MBK Centre.
  • By Flight : The distance between Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and MBK Center is 25 km. The journey takes 26 minutes.
  • By Cab : You can take a cab from Bangkok station to MBK Centre that costs Rs 180 - Rs 230 and takes 2 min to drop you to the destination.

In this mall, you can shop on the first five floors and has foot court on the upper two floors. You will be shocked to see such a big mall for the first time. Despite being very large, this mall is very neat and clean. You can easily get copy clothes from popular brands here.

Which are very affordable to buy, you will also find some local shops from which you have to bargain to buy things. There are also almost all kinds of electronics on the upper floor. If you get hungry after walking around this mall all day, there are shops for very nice food on the top two floors. It also has almost all the necessities of daily life.   

Places To Eat 

MBK has two food courts one on the 5th floor, called the food Island, another one on the 6th floor which is called the food avenue. 

Food Island (5th floor)-

You have lots of choices inside different variety you can look around see them displayed in front of each food stall and also the prices accordingly you can make your order. Almost all kinds of food in the world are available here at affordable prices. If you want cheap and more common foods, you can eat here. 

Food Avenue-

Inside this food court all are organized in a classy way, the food stalls are branded with a sign showing the country. You have Thai international Arabi Indian almost all kinds of food one can imagine and with very high-quality standards. You have also a big variety of drink choices from soft to alcoholic and exotic fruits, the place is calmer to sit where you can enjoy your meal. There is also an Indian stall called Chutney Indian Cuisine. If you want classy fancy food, you can enjoy it here.

MBK Centre opens at 10 am and closes at 9 pm every day.
If you can bargain you will get a good deal for your shopping, You will get a fine product at a cheaper rate but you have to bargain hard.
You will not need any guide while traveling in this mall. My advice to you by famous brand copies, not a t-shirt written on them Bangkok or local cloths.
