Good place to buy a suitcase when you buy too much stuff an need an upgrade (shops along the main road) Cheapest I've seen in Bangkok for them 😉 A lot of clothes there, seems to be where more Thais go. Certainly somewhere to check out to fulfill your shopping needs. Just be sure to haggle, dont accept that first price that is magically summoned on their mysterious calculators. 😂

There's a mixture of clothes, bags, and souvenirs in this market and the prices aren't as high as other famous markets. Most shops I visited actually had reasonable prices and they're willing to give discounts if you buy more. The stalls seem to change throughout the day too so the clothes you saw in the morning might not be there during the evening.

It depends on time and the items to purchase. Pratunam is a small market that deal in clothes, accessories, and home décor items. Local food stalls serve snacks. A series of shopping malls and pavements sell stuff. Chatuchak offers more variety. The market sells crockery, gardening implements, accessories, home décor items, and clothes. You can savor a variety of local dishes at food stalls and spend the whole day and bargain for clothes, bags, etc. In case you have less time, visit Chatuchak to experience more in a short time. If you have time, visit both the markets.
Pratunam Park Hotel, the White Palace Hotel, Citin Pratunam hotel, Khurana Inn, Baiyoke Sky Hotel, Amari Watergate Hotel, The Grand Diamond Suites Hotel, and Budacco Hotel are the hotels around the market. For monthly or weekly stays, KC Palace Service Apartment is the right choice.
Pratunam Market. It is a famous market in Bangkok to buy clothes, shoes, and fashion accessories at wholesale prices. Prices are low, and many shops offer retail prices for single pieces in the small alleys and jam-packed small streets.
Thailand is humid in most places. You should bring fresh and light clothes for hot weather. Go with sunscreen for beach hop. Gents may wear polo shirts, button-down collared shirts, and Bermuda shorts. Also, they can sport t-shirts and cargo shorts. Semi-casual pants are suitable for an evening out. Likewise, ladies should carry skirts, shorts, summer dresses, and elegant tops. Shirts should cover your shoulders (to the edges) and have a semi-high collar line. While in a Thai temple, both ladies and gents have to follow the basic rule of covering shoulders, knees, and ankles. Wear long shorts, capris, pants/trousers, or a knee-length-or-longer skirt on the bottom.
