Dubai, the city of luxury has added yet another spike to its beauty. Dubai Frame is the world’s biggest frame. The frame is located at Zabeel Park. The frame offers a 360-degree view of the humble past residing in Old Dubai and the plush and developing modern Dubai. The architectural wonder has two towers at a height of 150-meters joined together by a 93-metre long bridge at the top. It is one of the must-visit places in the city.
Visitors can walk on the 93-metre long glass pathway and enjoy the city on either side of the Frame. The structure resembles a magnificent and a colossal frame adorned by golden motifs in honeycomb pattern dazzling at night. Designed by the architect Fernando Donis, Dubai frame has honeycomb motifs all over in the exterior inspired by the logo of Expo 2020 to be hosted in Dubai.
The authorities expect around 2 million visitors a year to witness this architectural marvel and especially walk over the crack-free sturdy glass at the middle of the bridge. Dubai Frame has a museum that projects the past and present of the city. The museum shows How a city of the port used for fishing and trading re-invested itself to a country proud for its rich oil and mineral resources to an upscale and developing city of peerless and beyond.
It has many fine-dining restaurants, top-rated Hotels and Café’s to offer a variety of food and entertainment to its visitors along with the spectacular view. The Dubai Frame project cost close to AED 160 million has been constructed using 2000 tons of steel, 2900metre of laminated glass and boasts of 15000 sqm of gold cladding.
Strategically located in Zabeel Park, one of the oldest Park in Dubai it offers a panorama of the city both old and new. Additionally, it is located close to Dubai creek further offering a charming view of the Arabian Gulf along with an aerial view of the Abras on water.
