Not enjoying because of the crowds and no limit on the numbers of visitors into the palace so not having enough space to really appreciate the grandeur of the palace. I thought with COVID-19 situation that requires visitors to book a time slot, it would be a good chance to limit no. of visitors at each slot but i guess making up the lost revenue is more important than keeping social distance and appreciation of France history.

Visited in July 20, just reopened after Covid-19. The arrangement was good overall. The staffs were friendly and communicate well in English. Many young enthusiastic staffs guide us through during the visit.

Amazingly decorated rooms. The palace is a must to see! Now with coronavirus there are less tourists, the palace is not so crowded. The gardens were not that interesting. It was a "musical show" day in the gardens. Only three fountains of all were working, and that for a ticket of 10 euros!!!

The Palace and the Gardens of Versailles are among the significant treasures of the seventeenth century in France, which became known as Le Grand Siècle (the great century), epitomized by the glittering extravagance of Louis the fourteenth (The Sun King) and his court. He built the largest palace in Europe, housing 20,000 people at a time. Rich interior of this colossal palace and the vast gardens tell us more about the glory of the Sun King. Take your time and enjoy your visit.
