Hippie Presence and Early Environment

Hippies and foreigners inhabit Paradise beach and pitch their tent for camping. Most importantly, they make it a point to keep the beach clean. At night, you may bump into small troops of foreign travelers cooking their meals.

Ample fresh water is available on the beach to make it a perfect location for camping.  The water from the well is potable and clean.

Earlier, the beach was notorious as the hot spot for all the hippies due to the weed availability here. Later, the Government clamped down on these antisocial activities, shut off shacks, and prohibited all kinds of commercial activities.

There are remnants of broken-down shacks on the beach shore. Locals say that foreign travelers would make Paradise beach their home from November to March. They did not appreciate Indian tourists arriving at the beach.  Still, foreigners come for a day trip, pitch their makeshift tents, cook their food, and stay.

Beautiful and quiet. Blue Ocean waves, sitting below a coconut tree, humming your favourite song, just magical. Less crowded beach. You have do a scenic trek along the shore to reach which itself is a wonderful journey. Must visit if you want to spend some 'me' time
