Overview

Himachal Pradesh is one of the most visited states in India. Temples are one of the best places to visit in any tourist attraction. Masroor temple also referred to as Masroor Rock temple is one of the oldest temples of India.

It offers great views of the nearby mountain range the temple has a sacred pool in front of the temple. This is a temple complex of 15 temples. 14 temples of the complex have been cut from the outside but the central one from the inside.

Masroor rock-cut temples is a temple located in the District of Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh. This is an 8th-century rock-cut temple which discovered lately in the 20th century. The temple was also badly affected in 1905 due to the earthquake.

  • By Cab : This place is quite cut from the main Highway Road. Taking a private Taxi is the best way to reach this temple.
  • By Bus : Kangra ISBT is the bus station nearest to Masroor Temple. There is one bus stop at Lahalpur with limited frequency where the temple is located.
  • By Flight : The international airport closest to Masroor Temple is Kangra Airport. The distance from the airport to Masroor temple is 31.1 km via Gaggal Road.
