This place is simply brilliant. I booked for lunch at the Darwin Brasserie and loved every minute. The views are awesome. When arriving at the restaurant following about 30mins checking out the views, the staff greeted us warmly and showed us to our seats. We were seated at a window table and the view was awesome. The food was really tasty and was not slow at arriving. The waiting staff were superb. Our waitress was very nice and was heathers when we needed her without it bearing overbearing. It was my partners birthday and they kindly gave her a lovely chocolate brownie mini cake free of charge to celebrate. All in all I would highly recommend coming here for food!

When to have lunch today. The food was OK, but and view was fantastic. The reason for a 2 star is because on my bill was a high service charge which I think should not be charge, it should be optional. On top of that I give them tip. It's unfair on customer who don't pay attention to their bill.

Mediocre at best. Food was overpriced for the quality on offer. Darwin is a very noisy restaurant. The views really are not enough to carry the very average menu and over priced drinks. There are far better restaurants in the area. Service was painfully slow. Took 30 minutes to get the first round of drinks. The arrangements to deal with Covid are a complete shambles with insufficient signage and rude security staff. I ordered a virgin cocktail for my son at £9 and when it turned up it was a skinny vase full of ice. So I poured it out into a regular glass to see how much actual drink there was and it filled just a third of the glass! We complained but the replacement drink was hardly any better. I would not go back. A poor experience. So many better places nearby.

Very tasty food. But glad we got the £20 off from help out to eat out. I'd say the prices are very high for what you're getting!

Obviously this place is all about the view which was the best part of the experience here. The food here is a decent standard but expensive for what you actually get (a decent chain restaurant would be close in quality but much better value). The first server we had was quite slow and reccomended sides to go with our mains that were unsuitable (potatoes to go with fish where it was already served with them, chips to go with a burger when it already came with them) and no olives were brought to the table when asked. Another server took over and took care of the things we didn't need or wasn't delivered. The second server was really good, polite and professional. Overall it wasn't the best meal, but the experience was nice.
