The international airport and the capital city Male are equidistant from Alimatha Island. It is 40 miles away from the airport and Male. If you avail of a seaplane facility, a seaplane takes around 20 minutes to reach the island. On the other hand, a boat takes 90 minutes to reach Alimatha Island.
