Wow. Great experience. On the lake of lucerne there is the most detailed and well thought museum which is actually also great adventure park of all kind of transportation methods from the beginning of times until now. Trains, cars, submarines, spaceships, airplanes and a lot more. Take the whole day for this place. Great for the whole family.

Plan to have 4-5hrs to make the most of your visit. There are 5 different buildings each w a different focus of transportation (aviation, space, train, cars, water,...). You will find lots of relevant information and interactive activities. There is a chocolate exhibit about the history of Swiss chocolate that is worth the extra cost and 20min. We didn't visit the planetarium but it had good program. Food court and snack bars available. Good for little, big, bigger and biggest kids and grownups!

Media World was a complete scandal, a 15 min attraction, mainly advertisement for Red Bull who's the official sponsor of the place, to avoid at all cost. They refunded us by offering a place at the planetarium which was a lot better and a nice move on their side. The museum of transportation itself is a nice place, just avoid the advertisement tour by Red Bull...
