How to Reach

  • By Train : There are many trains running every hour & from Hualamphong station so you can easily take a train to Ayutthaya National Park. Hualamphong train station will drop you to Ayutthaya in 80 - 90 minutes.
  • By Bus : Bus leaves from Bangkok to Ayutthaya & takes around 90 minutes to reach.The bus will charge around 50THB. Buss numbers of 26, 77, 96, 104, 136, 145, or 509 will drop you to Ayutthya whichever you take.
  • By Cab : After reaching Mo Chit Station you can hire a cab to reach Ayutthya.

There is various way of doing it. The easiest just go to a travel agency or even ask your hotel or organizer a drive on the car to pick you up from the hotel drive you there it is about an hour’s drive from Bangkok. that easy but most expensive way of doing it.
1-2 days are sufficient in Ayutthaya. You can explore by visiting various temples and taste different cuisines.
There is no entry fee of this place but for some temples and sites, will be charged by the amount of 20-50 THB. But if you want to visit six different ones you can buy a 6-temple pass for 220 baht.
If you are familiar with the history of that time, you will not need any guide. But if you do not know history well and to know the details of everything else in this place you may need a guide.
